Baron oil filter relocation kit with Cobra pipes

I had my mechanic install a Baron's ork about a month ago on my 02 1100. I've got Cobra pipes and I really didn't like having to disassemble the exhaust just to change the oil. One problem that I can't seem to find a solution for -- that plastic brake fluid thing (reservoir? master cylinder?) had to be relocated to the opposite side of the bracket. So it's ugly little self is sitting out there exposed to whatever the road might throw at it.

Since it is now reversed from it's stock location (the mounting bolt is now on the left side) I can't find a cover that will fit. The chrome cover Yamaha makes has the bolt on the right side, so that won't work. Has anyone else run in to this? I would like to put some sort of shield over it or replace the plastic thing with a metal one but I'm not having any luck finding a suitable fix. Any useful suggestions or solutions would be much appreciated. I apologize if this was covered on another thread.

Same problem I had.I just used a 4" worm gear clamp and clamped it around the lower frame tube.
