Need help ID'ing this bike

Hey guys, my dad is in the market for a bike and came across this one. The seller is stating it's a 2003 1100. I have an 02 1100 and the motor layout just doesn't match mine at all. The bike has been well taken care of, I'm just curious as to what size the motor actually is. It looks more like a 950 to me, however I don't think they made a 950 in 03, did they?

It appears that AIS leads to the front of the motor, instead of behind a cover to the rear. There's some sort of electrical device with cooling fins right behind the front tire (stator maybe?), where my 1100 doesn't have. It also has the "Dog Bowl" air filter, shaft driven. The choke control is down on the motor itself (mine is located on the handlebars) I've attached a pic Please help me ID it. I took a quick look at it tonight, the frame has a date stamp of 7/02 (which I'm pretty certain could just be the frame build date)...

It could be an 03 vstar 1100 and the owner may have relocated the Rectifier & Regulator Assy to the front of the bike, I have an 03 vstar 650 classic and on the 650 the Rectifier & Regulator Assy is mounted on the front of the bike in front of the engine. I checked Babbitsonline.com
and on an 1100 the Rectifier & Regulator Assy is mounted on the left side of the bike for all model of vstar 1100.

That's a 650 v star.

See that white sticker parallel to the ground on the frame? (it's really obvious on the pic you posted). The first thing listed on that sticker is the displacement. An 1100 will have a displacement of around 1100 cubic cm...

The easiest way to tell (from the photo) is that an 1100 has dual front brakes whereas the 650 only has a single rotor on the pipe side.
And no, they didn't make a 950 in 2003

Thanks for all the replies. We have confirmed 100% the bike is a 650. Fwiw, it's not labeled on that sticker on the bottom, found the notifying sticker on the other side. The one shown only has tire info on it. Again thanks for all replies, you guys/gals rock
