1100 headlight question

Hi folks, got a little quextion bout the bulb. Got a 1100 Silverado (06 bought new) late last fall the high beam burned out, ok it's 7+ years old, no sweat. I go to the local NAPA store, get a replacement(exact same numbers and all) ...Well, the sum bitch burns out today on a run
hell, 4or 5 months of use and it's trash??

Can anyone give some advice on something better(bulb brand, ect)
At 12 bucks a throw, I would like to see what you folks can tell me about that.
Thank you in advance

If I were you I'd check the charging system immediately. A blown headlight (especially 2) is usually the first sign that the reg/rec is overcharging, If that is the case you stand a big chance of loosing a heck of a lot more than a headlight bulb......

The bulbs that you get at NAPA are not made for motorcycles, but cars. You need to get the heavy duty bulb made for high vibration like that of your bike if you wont it to last like the oem.
