There is a thread with someone singing the praises of the RSTD bars here in the forum: https://www.starbikeforums.com/forums...ad.php?t=32505

Found some good links here too: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=baron+vs+RSTD+bars

I just installed the barons 7308 bar today on my 1300 deluxe, and it is great. Stock cables were fine without a reroute. Hardest part is the fairing removal.

I heard the rstd bars were a huge improvement over the old 1300 bars, but I thought the newer ones were similar? What changes did you notice? Any pics?

My elbows bend now, so I think it was a huge improvement. I do not lean forward anymore either. And most importantly, the bike is much easier to handle at low speeds. There is a 1300 deluxe group on Facebook, I put a picture on there.
