Seat Swap Question

Hi all, I posted this in the mod area and got no replies, figured I'd try here.

My father in law has a 2008 stock seat from a silverado he doesn't use. His silverado came with an ultimate. I have an 07 custom. These seats connect differently. Has anyone successfully swapped out seats like this before? Thanks all.

You can drill a hole in the Custom fender and possibly weld a nut to the sub frame so the seat can bolt down. Just know that the curve of the seats is different where they lay against the fender and I think it's going to take some effort to get it to sit right with out some modifications to the seat.
