Solo Spring Seat for Vstar 1100

I would like to bob my 1100 custom. Blue collar is outside of my budget. Has anyone installed a spring seat like a biltwell on their bike? Did you make a bracket? I would like to be able to bolt it on. Has anyone hear fabricated a way to do this on their bike? I have some pics where someone did on a red vstar 650. I am looking for more detail on how to do it and what I need to purchase.

Thanks in advance.

I have a biltwell solo seat on my 1100 vstar. Check out these threads for some pics & info; and

I didn't make a bracket, I ordered a seat kit from SS Custom Cycle. Can't find it on their website anymore.... I ordered the Biltwell seat from them too.
I don't have any good close-ups of the seat brackets or anything... I can try to get some when I have the chance. Here's some similar that I found on the web: The brackets that the springs sit on look like:

And that bracket bolts to these that are mounted around the frame:

In all reality, the seat is not very comfortable-not good on long rides, but I like the look....
