21x3.5 wheel

If I'm correct my front wheel on my 08 V Star 1100 Classic is a 16"x3"? Anyone know if a 21x3.5 wheel is going to be a problem? I don't want a skinny tire up front

I'm not sure the fender will have clearance with that wheel. The tire will not only be wider, it will be taller as well. You may have an issue with the fender hitting the lower tree.

you'll have to do some research with tire size measurements to see what the total height difference will be...then measure your forks when compressed to see if it'll go....

I figure I'll have to replace the fender with something different anyways. I located a factory 16" spoke for the rear locally for $50 so there's a bonus

Is an 18" wheel the largest you can use that would fit the stock fender?

Better make sure it's an 1100 rear wheel. Unless it's a custom wheel, it'll be a 15".....Yamaha never made a 16* rear wheel for the 1100.

You're probably right. It may fit, but would definitely need some modification.
