Headlight comes off clip

Anyone else have the issue of the headlight coming off the retaining clip, and subsequently bounces around? The headlight will stay in the enclosure, but it bounces up and down and I've gotta assume it annoys drivers. I've attached the clip I'm talking about.

Any ideas how to keep it secure so I've got a steady headlight?

Well that's it. I never had that extra pin on mine, haha. My old bike (Honda) was held by pressure. Looks like I need to use a paperclip or something.

The amount of tension from that little piece of spring steel is quite surprising. No wire that I can think of would ever be able to match it.

After seeing that picture, it's the "w" shaped pin spring I was missing. There is almost no tension without it. I ended up getting a paper clip, and once all assembled, used needle nosed pliers to loop it around the two retaining clips. It should stay tight for a long time, and all I need is pliers to take it apart again.

Thank you for the reference picture so I at least know I wasn't going crazy!
