Identification help

Hello All

A friend of a friend approached me regarding buying his vstar. Its a 2001 originally in purple but he put some black wrap on spots to try and make it look like a HD (Tool).

Regardless, while he looks for the title, Im trying to figure out what model and engine this is and what its worth. It only has 4100 miles with a small dent on the rear fender.

Any help / advise would be greatly appreciated

Thx Dom

Agreed, it's a 650. Unfortunately, I can't help out with the pricing; pricing in Canada is way different than the states.

Super low miles on a pristine 2001 might net you $3000 in NC on a good day. That might be a $2500 bike to the right buyer.

Here in Southeastern VA Craigslist is full of them. Probably more of those than any other foreign cruiser. Just shop around and see what others are going for. Like pangea33, I'm thinking in the 2500 range.
