Pod filters bad for constant velocity carbs?

So after reading about how amazing pod filters were, I bought them and installed them. After that I was reading somewhere about how constant velocity carbs (which I have) need an airbox because it needs calm air and if you take the airbox out and put in the pods then at some point through the rpm range you're gonna be running lean and damage the engine. What do you guys think?

As long as you have the right jets in the carbs, there should not be any issues.

Thanks,
