Bottoming Out

I'm looking for some help. I have a 2006 V star 1100 Silverado. I've lowered it 2 inches and replaced the stock spring with a heavy duty one. I'm still bottoming out though. Is there any "shock" replacement out there where I can still use my new spring? Or would a heavier shock from say a Royal Star or something work on it? Looking for cheap ideas that don't cost $400. Thanks!

Your shock is worn out.....a spring won't fix it.

You have 2 choices...

1.) OEM Yamaha shock at abo0t $350 worn out in another 20,000 miles

2.) Progressive 465 series shock for about $380 that will last forever.

Nothing else will fit. "Cheap fix" isn't in the formula....

I'm in the same boat as you Logan. This is the cheapest one I have found thus far...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A2CKP5WSGR2ZV2

I have to put new tires on so I figured while I had it on the lift with no tire may as well throw this under there at the same time. If you find it cheaper let me know please.
