Headlight quit

Today I noticed my head light was not working on high or low beam.
Checked the 15a fuse OKAY, power into the fuse power out of the fuse.
No power in the head light can to the head light.
Checked dimmer switch no power to switch.
Is there a "relay" for the headlight system? I checked my PDF repair manual but the wiring diagram is scanned and poor quality and difficult to read.
Can anyone point me in the proper direction ?
Eager for a prompt reply.
P.S.
WELL DUMBAZZ KICKED IN, IT IS AN 06 VSTAR 650 CUSTOM XVS65X

Hey Bert....go here...

https://www.starbikeforums.com/forums...ead.php?t=3795

scroll down, there is a link to a couple of pretty good diagrams. I do not see a relay in the circuit. But I just quickly scanned the diagram.

Possibly a broken wire?

Let there be headlight!!!!!!!

Well, I figured it out.
Opened battery cover, cleaned and checked all connections, fuses etc. then I removed the speedo, gas tank, frame neck covers and exposed a number of electrical connectors, opened them and inside one were several pins that was severely oxidized, I took a dental tool with a small blade type tip, roughed it up with a rough fingernail file and used it to clean the pins in the oxidized connector, blew it out with air compressor. Sprayed the connector with contact cleaner, added some electrical conductive lube and tested the headlight, working again, whoopee!
I open all the connectors I could and sprayed them with LPS1.
The bike has near 50k miles.
Took a little time but it did not have to go to the Yamaha Robbery shop.
Thanks for the input.
