Turn signal issues again, - Not Led lights.

This problem happened a few months ago and I was able to resolve it by spraying some lithium grease in it.
Turn signals have worked fine since October.
Now I have the problem again and I'm not able to resolve it.
These are OEM lights not LEDs.
My turn signal indicator doesn't work when I when I push it for a left turn.
Pushing it right works fine, the indicator light flashes and goes off when I push the button like normal.
The front and back signals on the right side work fine but when I push left I don't get an indicator light and all the turn signals flash like hazard lights.

Anyone ever run across that one or have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any info you can give.
Glenn

Do you have voltage on the left side of the switch when you turn it on?

How about voltage at the light sockets on the left side?

Sorry i just saw all these posts, its a 2002 VStar 650 Silverado.
It has something to do with the contacts in the switch is my guess.
I let it set overnight after taking the switch assembly completely apart and and cleaning everything with WD40.
Once it all dried it works like normal again.
I may go ahead and change the flasher relay just to be sure it isn't something related to that because I also checked all the connections last night and made sure everything was tight
When I was finished last night I still had the problem.
I just happened to try it again this morning and realized the problem was resolved for now.
I expect it's only temporary because this is the 2nd time its happened
