Rear splines

While I'm changing tubes, which splines need greased. The ones contacting wheel hub or inside the final drive.

there's a coupler that's under the nose cone, it couples the shaft to the pinion gear, grease that coupler with moly paste ( extreme pressure) grease, the weak point is the splines on the pinion side, the couple is under two rubber boots that you can slide apart that will expose the coupler, after removing the 4 acorn nuts the cone will slide up the shaft, there's a procedure for reinstalling the unit, follow it to keep the drive in alignment, don't just willy nilly reinstall wheel and drive unit

Good deal. There was plenty of grease on the splines but i wiped them down and put new stuff since i was there. Yeah, i seen about aligning the final drive.
