puncture kit and tools

Hi all,

has anyone discovered any nooks and crannies where a puncture kit and some CO2 cylinders can be kept on the Vstar 950? I dont have saddlebags yet so I need somewhere to stash emergency stuff....any brilliant ideas?

Garage
Any space inside your side covers? If not, I'd suggest a windshield bag as an alternative.

or use ride-on tire sealant preventative and never get a puncture in the first place. i ran over something with my rear tire back in the Spring. i never would have known except i saw just a small amount of the goop when i was just giving the tire a lookover. it took months before my tire pressure sensor finally started flashing to let me know that the pressure had dropped 4psi from the last time it was filled. i'm still riding on the tire some 5,000 miles later.

on a steel horse I ride
