Cool Back from 2k mile trip

Back from my road trip and I enjoyed it very much. Didn't experience any of the bad things that some have had with the bike such as the bad seat or handlebars (I have a 2009). I did over 1000 miles Thursday and again on Sunday. I loved how spacious the seat is, my bottom never got sore. Bike loves the open road. Throttle boss helped me out a lot. I thought about an Omni Cruise but didn't pull the trigger in time. Only hiccup I had on the way was losing my high beam but that was an easy fix. Thought I was going to regret not getting highway bars and pegs before the trip but my legs never cramped or got tired thanks to the bike having floorboards and forward controls. Made the same trip on an 883 before and had to keep stretching out my legs. The range is great I can normally stretch out about 200 miles a tank if I watch the throttle but we stopped about every 130-140 miles to walk around for a minute to keep the legs fresh. Loving my latest motorcycle purchase!!!

1000 miles in a day is more than I want to do on, or in, any machine but glad to hear that you had a good trip and are delighted with the bike. That's a good feeling.
