Part information needed

Hello all, it looks like a screw came loose and fell off on my chrome cylinder(?) head cover. This chrome looks mostly decorative and serves no real function accept for aesthetics.

I think I found the part online listed for a 2013 model, mine is 2014. Whats the chances that they would be different? Part #90149-06302-00 (screw special shape)

I get all my oem parts on yamahapartsnation.com

I like it because you put in your year and model, then it shows you parts diagrams.

The parts number for your screw is the same as used on my 2010 VStar 950. So it's probably the same for you I'd guess.

Looks like your source has better price. I'd order a couple. Just to have. :-)

Yeah I'll add a few. The other ones were loose also. I might put a little loctite on them when I put them back in
