XV250 floorboards

My son gave a nice set of floorboards for Xmas and they fit - no modifications.

They don't spring up like the pegs do - is this normal????

Underneath they are hollow so the trailing edge could dig in if scraped in a turn - is this noemal or should I attach a skid plate on the bottom???

Pics later tomorrow.

i hope there not rigidly mounted, no spring isn't a big deal but they should lift a little before digging into the road or you might get a big surprise in a hard lean

They'll be a rigid mount on the foot peg - looks like I'll have to radius the inboard top edge of the edge new mount - it's a solid piece with a hole drilled for the pin that holds the foot peg on.

That's an easy fix.
