V Star 950 Steering Nut in black?

Anyone know if Yamaha makes the 950 Steering nut in black? The chrome one is part #90176-22002-00. I thought I read on here somewhere that one year they offered the 950 with some blacked out parts like the speedo dash, etc. I suppose I could have mine powder coated, but I'm worried about scratching it on install. Any help would be appreciated.

paint the chrome one while it's on the bike, you can use any shade black you like

Powder coat. A good powder coater could coat it and it be installed without marks from the wrench.

and its 100x better than spray paint.
