Should have left the corn it in. As engine warms up it would pop and you could have a snack going down the road. But really, glad you got it to turn over. On the inspection camera, Autozone rents them, others might. Keep us informed.

* Last time is was started: about 3 & 1/2 years ago. (Ran like crap. Sputtered & popped.)

^Maybe it was popcorn in there? Good luck with your project! Those bikes look like they are going fast just sitting still. Be careful!

How do the deer get the corn out. You must have a very crafty deer. My friend has the exact same bike and that thing is scary fast.

isnt that the inside of the air filter, the side that goes to the carbs/throttle body?

how did the mice get in there? must be a hole in the airbox of hoses somewhere - not good

if you had cranked the engine all that would be sucked into the cylinders?

just looking at the air filter assembly for the Royal Star, with the same engine

that is the intake side of the air filter - it sits inside the airbox, pulls air in from the center of the filter, and the 4 carbs pull their air from the outside - its backwards, the dust is collected in the center.

It takes air from both sides. I'll take some pictures or maybe a video later & post it
