noise question?

When i turn the key on the was like a pump noise that ran for like 5 seconds then turned off. Can anyone tell me what the noise is. Because it has done it everytime since I bought the bike but today when I went to start it it didn't do it. Is this something I should be concerned about. How can I fix it if it is suppose to do that.

Its the fuel pump sometimes you wont hear it if the line is full.

It's just the fuel pump, don't worry about it and enjoy your ride
