New rider in GA

I have a 07 V-Star 1300. I have a tons of questions and I can't wait to gather great info from you guys.

Can batwings/fairings be mounted in conjunction with my existing windshield?

To the best of my knowledge, no. You cannot keep your old windshield in place and install a batwing. They have their own windshields and you can get them different heights. Both options, the batwing faring and your current windshield, mount in basically the same place.

Welcome to the group!
As for the batwing mounting at same time as windshield, uh, nope - nada - no chance.

They do mount in the same location, but even if the mounts were different, they cannot physically occupy the same place at the same time.

Take a look at corsair's pics for a batwing on an 1100.

Here is a Silverado windshield on my 1100

Welcome to the gang. I think that what you want is what Memphis Shades has to offer. Thyre fairing and windshield use the same mounting system but can't be installed at the same time; only one or the other.

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.
