Hello from Central Texas

Hey gang,
My name is Steve and I am going to need some help getting a 2007 Vstar 650 running happily down the road again. I am brand new to the forum and new to working on motorcycles. I just received my new Clymer manual and that hopefully will keep me from making too many mistakes. I suppose the intro post is not the place to ask detailed questions so when I can, I will post details of my bike issues and questions.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum from East Tennessee. Nice looking ride. Be sure to ask your questions in the Vstar section. We have several 650 owners and they’ll all be willing to help where they can. Keep us posted on your progress and ride safely!

Keith, I just posted my question in "general discussion" right before I saw your post to me.
Should I just let it ride....pun intended.

Just let it ride, I’m sure you’ll get some responses soon. We’re fortunate to have so many mechanically inclined members.
