Cool new olg guy

Hello new to site 76 yrs young just sold my 02 1800 Goldwing to heavy to hold up. Just purchased a 07 1300 v star. looking forward to riding. Still working own a carpet cleaning business and play the drums with a few groups. Living in paradise Cape Coral Fl.

Welcome to the Forums from The frozen North of Southwestern Ontario, Canada .

You'll enjoy the freedom and lightness of the 1300 but first thing i would recommend if it hasn't been done is changing the handlebars to the RSTD bars to make it more comfortable. The 2007 - 2010 bars are wide and don't pull back far enough usually causing shoulder pain.

Enjoy the 1300.. nimble and fun and enough power to run hard on the highway

Welcome from another resident of the frozen north, jack. I think you'll find the low center of gravity of the VStars make them very easy to handle. Post a pic if you get a chance - we love pics here!
