Vstar 250 is a good bike.

Every once in a while I see a '70s Honda CB125 on craigslist, usually for less than $1000. Would not mind having one just to putter around town.

I was at a restaurant and saw I guy riding in on a motorcycle, it looked like a Honda Pacific Coast. He came in wearing full riding gear: FF helmet, textile jacket, boots, gloves.. the host at the door asked him what kind of MC he has, and he said "its a scooter!"

I know there are 'scooters' with 600 cc engines that will go 95mph, but somehow there is still a line between what we perceive to be a motorcycle and a scooter. I could see myself riding a CB125 down a dirt road thru a forest, standing up on the foot pegs, and its a motorcycle.

but a scooter is still a scooter.

Welcome from the Maritimes. Great bike you got yourself there and you found the best place to learn about it, get tips, and share experiences. Post a pic of it when you get a chance!
