Tom Patterson

Hello All,

I am a brand new rider who just purchased a V-Star 650. I enjoy learning to ride it through the streets of Oahu.

Hi Tom!
Welcome to the forum from East Tennessee. Bet you have some pretty country to ride through. Any pics you’d like to share with us of your 650? We love pics here. Ride safely!

Being a new rider I would recommend a new rider course. I wish they had these back in the day I might have avoided a few mishaps.

Tom, I too just purchased a Vstar 650 2 weeks ago and am a new rider. It seems to be 'the' bike to ride for new riders. So far I am really enjoying it. Lots of good folks and info here on this site. There are lots of good training videos available on youtube as well. I have watched a lot of MC Riders (Kevin Morris) videos which have been very helpful Motorcycle safety course FREE. Be safe!
