New...sort of...

Hi everybody. I posted back in June, but figured I'd introduce myself now that it's official. My husband has bought himself a Harley. I have been riding a 1998 Honda Shadow ACE 750 for the past 3 years. My husband's first bike was a 2007 Yamaha Roadstar. So now we have a his, hers, and ours scenario going on. Our last ride, I took the Roadstar...man, what a fun ride. While she is a LOT of bike, she rides and handles much nicer than my Honda...and she's shorter! We went about 250 miles on that trip with several stop and park scenarios on dirt and gravel. It wasn't always pretty, but I managed her!

Here she is...

Hi Bethany,

Welcome (back) from the Netherlands .

Very pretty bike indeed.

When I got my first cruiser 5 or so years ago, I had a choice between a Honda 1100 and a Yamaha XVS1300, and I chose the Yamaha because it was so easy to ride indeed, and handling so well. Good choice to take the Roadstar out .

Kind regards, Wim

Well, to be completely honest, my Honda has consistently gotten the most compliments and I'll show you why...
