Help please

So I recently replaced the lovely starter clutch on my 1100 and upon startup there's now a clicking sound coming from rear cam area. Anyone else experience this issue? Maybetiming off a tooth or something? Everything looks to be lined up. Any feedback helps. Thanks in advance

can you take the cam timing covers off the heads and check the marks against the timing mark on the crankshaft on an 1100, without pulling the tank and carbs off?

another thought, when you put all the covers back on are you sure you got the long bolts and the short bolts in the right location?

Someone did this last year, put a long bolt in a cover where the short bolt goes, and it ripped apart the alternator when he started the bike.

Yes I made a cutout of cardboard to put each bolt in correct location. From what I can tell it sounds to be coming from cam chain gear. The scissor type one.
