2006 XVS 1100 custom New Rider

Finally bought a bike! I live in Cumberland Gap, TN. Bought a nice 2006 VStar 1100 custom. I will post pics after giving it a good shine.

Congratulations!! Mine's 4 years older than yours but I gotta say, what you read here is that these Yamaha's are the most reliable and everything I see and do supports that. Looking forward to pics, they are always rewarding.

Welcome from Atlantic Canada and another 1100 rider. Boots is right on about reliability. Mine's a 2000 with 30,000 miles and I'd ride it anywhere. I often go on day trips to other provinces solo and I don't even think about it leaving me stranded any more than I would a newer bike. Looking forward to your pics.
