Hello! New here.
I have had a MC Endorsement since the day I turned 15 y/o (31 damn years... where does the time go?)
Started out on Honda dirt bikes then moved on up to Crotch rockets in my 20's in 07 I messed up and bought a little V Star 650 brand new. I was all down hill from there. I have owned nothing but V Stars (well my father gave me his sportster when he retired and I am slowly rebuilding it.) Last summer I picked up an 09 Vstar 1300 with 2500 miles for $3000 Not a scratch or bit of rust. Fellow bought it and rarely rode it but kept up the maintenance better than anyone I have ever seen. Every purchase had a receipt all filed by date. It is the current love of my life

Welcome from Houston, Texas, actually Katy, but most people relate to Houston. It's nice to see another Texan join. It's nice this weekend so hope you get some riding time in. Here's a thread about previously owned bike, most have migrated like you.

Here's a few interesting threads to check out when you get a chance.

Ride often and safe.

Welcome from Atlantic Canada. I was always a Honda guy until my last bike (FZ600). Sold that years ago and when I got back into biking I did a lot of research before getting my VStar. No regrets. So my addiction is recent, but I'm looking to upgrade and chances are very good it'll be another Yammie. I'd love to see a pic of your new ride too.
