Installing a BOSS speaker system

NEED HELP!! I am a mechanical idiot and am trying to install the amp for the BOSS speaker system right now I have it hard wired to the battery but amp stays on also gets warm after 15 min of use what do I need to do

Welcome from Houston, Texas. Amps draw a lot of power. Depending on year, make and model of bike it might be too much draw.
