Would like to take a moment and say hi to everyone. Hoping I may ask questions I'd like to make my bike into a bagger.

should be easy to find what you need

Vstar 1100 had a factory version called Silverado, the same bike with factory windshield and saddle bags... maybe fork deflectors.

the bikes were designed to be modified

if you want to buy new stuff its expensive - look on craigslist and similar sites for bargains

Welcome!

My 2002 Classic set up. As KCW says, Craigslist (and eBay) are good places to find used parts. You'll find bargains on this forum as well. I bought the MS Batwing and Cruiseliner bags for a fraction of the new price, and then had them painted to match the bike.
