Soon to be V Star 950 owner

Hello from Tennessee. I current own a VTX1300 and plan to trade for a V Star 950. I will soon be 70 and want something a little smaller. I think the 950 will suit me fine. I look forward to the sharing of information on this forum.

Welcome to the 4M. Nothing better than a Star cruiser when you want to become an EX-VTX'er

Welcome to the forum TET. I'm sure you'll enjoy the 950. Are you looking at the Bolt by any chance?

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.

I went from the Shadow Sabre 1100 to the 950 by default. (project costs etc, etc.) 950 is hands down the better bike in my not so humble opinion. Hope it works out for you.

Wise choice. I bought my 950T when I was 71. Years ago, I rode a Suzuki Cavalcade. Nice, elegant, HEAVY bike - but not really much fun to ride. The 950 suits me and my short legs much better.
