newbie from BC

Hi, not new to bikes, been riding since I was 12, honda 50,then 650kz,then 1300kz 6 cyl. Then bought a house , had three girls, they moved out eventually. Bought new 2003, vstar 1100 classic ten years ago. Ride year round, have 50,000k on it , no problems, just plugs, brakes and tires, still have the same battery. I now have 2 sets of exhaust, 2 sets of bags,3 sets of seats, 1 brand new in the box fuel tank, extra spring and shock for the rear , you get the idea. Mustang seat, max air, passing lights, extended foot boards, luggage rack, chrome fender tips and side covers.Need a new tire again,ha ha.Decided to join this forum to save myself some headaches when looking for info mostly. Looking for a metzler 880 rear tire at a reasonable price, if you know of one. thanx for having me. Walter

Welcome to the forum Walt. What part of BC you in? Could be a nice day trip down south to get that tire installed . Don't be shy to post and ask all the questions you may have. You'll get an answer for sure, may not be on the subject you asked but an answer non the less .

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.

hey welcome walt. Jafrum International Inc. is having a tire sale right now. Don't know if they'll have your size, but certainly worth a look see. [email protected] . Sounds like a great looking bike, would sure like to see it.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay. Riding year around that's great. When you post a picture of your bike and loads of parts also post a picture of the dog sled team that pull you all winter..
