Hello from San Diego

Hello everyone. I recently bought a 2007 V Star 1100 Custom as a first bike. It's my daily driver at this point and has been great so far. Just put on a set of Cobra Slash Cuts and this weekend I'll be disabling my AIS (for obvious reasons...)

Welcome to the forum. I just bought some slash cuts as well, haven't had a chance to fit them yet.

So do you live in San Diego by choice or does your employer insist?

Welcome and enjoy the daily "dodge 'em" game...

Welcome aboard, Lowell.

I have been investigating slash cuts for my '09 1100 Custom, and I find that thanks to the enviro-Nazis here in the Golden State, my only option is the full length Cobras.....no slip-ons available.

Is that what you found too, or is there another choice I have overlooked?

Stay safe and alert if you're a daily driver....!

God bless......

Welcome to the forum Lowell. Good choice in riding machine. I lived in the Republik of Kalifornia for many moons. Mispent my youth in San Francisco when Haight-Ashbury was the place to be on sunny days, then stationed at the Submarine Base in Point Loma. Just got tired of the all the nonsense and left, never looked back.

Enjoy the ride. BTW, I have a slash cut on my 1100. Excellent sound. Not sure if there's much of a difference performance wise between the slip-on or the full system. Maybe someone on the forum can enlighten.
