New to the block.

Hello to everyone at the V Star Forum. Im writing to you from Reading, Pa. Yesterday I purchased my first VStar a beautiful
09 650 Classic. This is my first Yamaha period. I would be inter-
ested in what everyone has to say about the VStar and any
suggestions you might have. You can e-mail me here or at my
e-mail address. way[email protected] Have a great weekend
and safe riding.

Fine bikes

Bout all I can say is Yamaha is one great bike for the money, I think you will be very happy with the simple quality they put out. I have been riding Yamaha for many years and plan to stay with them, get some Yamaha time under your belt, and you could very well feel the same. Have fun and ride safe.

I'm new here as well, and I also agree 100% with Sugar Bear. Yamaha is treating me very well. Welcome and look around.
I bought a brand new 09 650 Custom almost a month ago and I am having the time of my life (I've never bought a vehicle with only 1.8 miles on it).

Welcome. I feel the same as the guys above.
I had an '82 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim, and it ran like a bear
for a 28 year old bike. Then I went out last week and
bought a brand new V Star 950 Tourer, I can't say
enough good things about it, it's just so AWESOME!
I'm sure this will be my last and only bike for the rest of my life.
I see no reason to switch after this.
Welcome and enjoy!
