Another new guy

Hi all, I myself drive an old Yamaha xj650 Maxim, but my dad got himself a 2009 V Star 950 and I'll most likely be doing most of the maintenance on it, so I thought joining StarBikeForum was a good move.

The first question is... There's no off switch to remove the fuel tank? Do injector equipped bike no have a on off switch? The Yamaha manual tells me to pump the fuel out, but I can't believe I'll have to do this every time I want to do anything on it :S.

you just clamp off the fuel line under the gas tank if you want to remove it. you don't have to empty the tank, though that would make it lighter to move
