Hello from cheese land.

Hello all. I just got a 1999 v-star I was told is an 1100. No real idea if it is or not or what model it is. Has 7100 miles on it, as far as add on's I have no idea. I was planning on buying a Harley (soft tail) saw this bike and had to have it. It is a great bike that I love even though I have only owned it 5 days. About me, I am 30 and work as an auto tech here in Wisconsin. I've riden a few bikes in my day, 1979 honda CX 500 and a 1985 gpz 750. Well any how I look forward to getting to know ever one. John

Hope you enjoy your new ride. I believe if your bike has disc brake on the rear, it is an 1100. The 650's have a rear drum set-up.
