hello

Hello everyone, i'm new to motorcycles. I have a 02 vstar 1100 classic that i bought about two mnths ago. I've had a great time riding it so far besides the trouble of getting it running right. The guy i bought it from let it sit for a year.

hate to break it to ya but you gotta get your carbs cleaned if you can do it yourself its not to hard to do but if you have to take it to a shop its goin to cost you what happens is when the bikes sit the fuel breaks down in the carb and gums it all up hence your poor running issue i had to do it when i got back from my last deployment because i didnt store it correctly....

Thanks for the reply already had that done. Still cuts out and back fires can't seem to get it adjusted right. Already disabled the ais for the aftermarket exhaust. That's why I'm trying to find out if 06 1100 carbs will work on mine I found some cheap on eBay I'm not trying to spend 900 on new ones right now.
