I'm back.

After a stint on a Warrior, I returned to 950 ownership yesterday. This time tourer mode.

Welcome back Timmer. Why the change from the Warrior?

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.

Yes sir it is. Guys already giving me grief about "only" 950cc at work. It does the job just fine and cheap. My warrior torched the front cylinder in first 2000 miles and was a risk afterward IMHO. They replaced one cylinder but not the ecu or rear one. Also running so hot it was melting the turn signal. Just wanted out with 10 days left on warranty.

Well yeah but it's not a deal breaker. I've done the sport bike and speed thing. Not like a 950 is slow, just needs a downshift for uphill pass. The warrior was going to get me in trouble too and was rather uncomfortable. Either way I'm good with the power until I can buy my retirement bike to tour seriously on in ten years.

First off welcome to the forum...

I agree about the comfort level. Couldn't get comfy on my buddies warrior either.

Glad you have something you like..
