Hello, New from Houston, Texas

Hello, Everyone. I recently purchased a 2003 V-star 1100. Its my first crusier and I have to say I love it. I still own a Suzuki GSXR and since I got the V-Star, I dont use the GSXR anymore. Im even thinking about selling it.

I looked for about 2 months and my first ententions were to Bob it. I may still do that but I really love the way that it looks as is. I paid $3300 for it, with only 10000 miles. It has all the bells and whistles.

-Corbin seat, removable saddle bags, removable windshield, BAK air intake, Hard Krome 3" pipes, Dynojet ignition, carbs jetted, AIS removed, oil filter relocation kit, profiler gas cap, floorboard extensions, handlebar risers, lowering kit, stiffer spring, custom license plate/brake light assembly, various chrome pieces, custom speedometer, iso grips with throttle boss.

I think I got a good deal, what you guys think? Been riding it everyday. I have put about 300 miles on her already. Look forward to browing through the forum and getting to know you guys/gals. Cheers and ride safe!!!

Diller

Thanks for the compliments.

Yes, its a little tough riding in Houston at times but you get used to it. Just have to be on the look out because people really don't know how to drive around here.

Happy riding

Cheers.

Lovely bike.

This is a lovely bike, I can't get over you paying $3300.00. Here in Australia you would have to pay $9000 to $10000 upwards for a bike of that quality. All the best and enjoy.

Thanks guys, I think I got a great deal.

I plan on adding more chrome accents and white wall tires, crash bars. Did a 200 mile ride this past weekend, it was awesome.

Welcome captaink. Post pics. Would love to see your bike. Whenever you are ready for a small road trip. Let me know. I'll get the brand of the bags when I get home tonight.

I wanted drag bars as well. Can't wait to check yours out.

Welcome. Great bike. Real clean look. I bought a 2000 Roadstar 1600cc just last year and love it too. Glad to hear you're enjoying it so much. I've got the soft bags too but have to say. I miss being able to lock them up when I have to park and walk. Hope you get lots of riding in. Look forward to seeing more pics. Maybe on the road?
