Welcome to the forum Jloverby..and don't mind Springer, he remembers when bikes had wooden wheels. In all seriousness, this is a great place for information. And as far as the MSF course goes, I had a two month wait between buying and getting legal. It used to be the longest 2 months of my life. I just put the bike in the shop and it could be there for a little while. I think it's harder when you're legal and you can't ride versus having the bike and knowing you can't ride legally!

Here's a pic of Springer on his first bike, he keeps it around for memories.
