hard starting

I've got a 2007 1700 silverado, just started having this issue, after a good ride, stop the bike for a break or visite (5 to 10 minutes), doesn't start very well. Like its flooding, it usually started right away. Anyone have suggestion.

Do you turn the fuel pitcock off after shutting the engine down?

Throttle

Hopec,

I never bothered to turn off the gas valve but it would tell you is fuel is dripping in while not running.

Be sure you are not giving it any throttle when starting. On some modles this will advance the timming. Be sure the air filter is not dirty. Throttle position sensor might be worth checking if all else fails.

Give you something to do untill the experts come along.

Does it sound like the battery is dead, but when you check the battery it is fully charged? If so it could be your started clutch.
