New Star Rider in Alabama

Good morning everyone,

I just picked up a 2008 V-Star 1300 Tourer (Seashell) this weekend and am loving it so far. I had a 2004 Suzuki Volusia that was an awesome bike and I put 31K plus on it in seven years. I finally convinced the wife to let me upgrade to a bigger bike, and man the difference.

The Star is smooth! I was cruising down the slab at 70 or so and didn't even realize it. I am a longtime member of the Volusia Riders forum and hope I can have that same camaraderie with you guys.

Look forward to talking to you guys, since I already have tons of mods in mind!

Will post some pics later.

Thanks!

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!

That's interesting, because we have a moderator here that has tons on his mind.
