BC, Canada - Time to Upgrade

Hey guys and gals.

I've been riding a '99 BWS for over 6 years and dreaming about being able to shift gears and get on the highway.

It's finally that time. I'm negotiating on a 2005 V-star Classic 650 and I can't wait to get on the road with it. I'll be lurking around here, seeing what's going on with these bikes and asking questions now and again but from what I can see this will be a great bike.

Now just to get a passenger back rest and pegs installed.

I'll also probably look at a light bar with spotlights, but not sure yet.

Like I said it's a '05 classic 650 with 11,200km.

I paid 3250 for it and bought it off my boss. It seemed like a good deal.

Talking

Bought it from your boss.
Now when you come in late just tell him it's all his fault the bike made you late.

Welcome to the forum from the other side of the country. The 650 is a great entry bike and you'll soon get a perma grin. Don't be shy to ask all the questions you have. We will do, our best to give you an answer and if you're lucky some will actually deal with what you asked .

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.
