New Rider

Hey folks...just purchased a new leftover 2009 VStar 1300. This is my first bike since being a kid and riding a Honda 50! I am 48 and live in SW Florida. My bike is awesome...just added big bar engine guards and chrome belt guard. Really enjoying casual riding and this bike is a keeper but I need to get risers for the handlebars.

Sometime long ago in the last century I rode a Honda 50 at Jax Beach. Welcome to the new century

Welcome to the forum. I think that handlebars are the number one downer for the 1300. Something like this is what 1300 vstars riders are using and some are putting on a set of Royal Star bars too.

Welcome R.

There are plenty of places to find risers. The hard part is finding the right one, but that can be the fun part to. Enjoy the process.....
