Hi there from Germany

Hey Guys,

finally found the way into this forum. I ride a ī97 XVS 650 for more than six years. I made a lot of mods during the last winter so she is completely customized now. Im from the city of Munich in Bavaria, so itīs not always easy to modify a bike cause of our mass of legal requirements but i finally made it to have it all approved.

The major modifications are:
- 210/50R17 rear wheel instead of the original 170
- claned and stretched fuel tank with a integrated pop up filler cap
- 92 cm dragbar with 4" pullback risers
- selfmade rear fender with integrated taillight
- upper fork covers
- silvertail k02 exhaust and hypercharger aircleaner

I got some pictures for you as well:

Regards from Munich, Bavaria, Germany

welcome! You have an amazing looking bike there! Love the paint job and tire modification! What do you have going on there with that front headlamp? I agree with HDeater you need to get that bike into the Bike of the Month contest.

Welcome to the fun house IronMan! That is a sweet piece of Iron you have, excellent work. It's always nice to make the bike fit who you are. Our friend Bevo, the neighborhood Mod should be here soon to suggest you vote for BOTM and enter yours. Ride safe and keep the rubber side down.

well, I actually expected that someone would mention that. This symbol is older than you think it is. It was actually a medal in the german empire some hundered years ago and the use of this symbol is not prohibited and has nothing to do with the third reich

What do you mean? This type of headlights is very popular in europe

What do I have to do to join in to the botm vote?

Beginner question: what does the fat back tire add to the bike, other than killer style? enhanced performance? what kind?
