Hi from Bristol, England

Hi all,

Stumbled on this sight after trolling the web for info on the starter "clunk" issue common to the V/Drag Star 1100. My ride is a 2000 1100 Dragstar Custom with 18300 miles. Had it for a couple of years and think it's great.

Had Ducati's before but my lad had a 400cc Dragstar Classic and after riding it and working on it (simplicity in itself!) decided I wanted one. Haven't looked back since.

We have a run this Sunday, 16th Oct in my parts called "Hoggin the Brdge" a charity event (devised by local Harley group) where riders (mainly of customs & cruisers) ride over the Severn Bridge which connects England to Wales. Any UK based members going??

It's a great event and well received by the locals. They even line the streets to wave out to all the bikes. Thousands of bikers usually attend and the weather forecast looks good

Well...that's me for now

We have those sorts of events here as well, and sometimes the people even use all their fingers to wave at us...
