Smile New rider

Hello everybody,

I am a new rider and just purchased my first bike, a 2007 Yamaha VStar 1300. She's beautiful. I hope to get to know all of you and maybe learn something from you as well.

About 22,000. I've only put about 100 of those miles on it as the weather has not been very favorable yet.

I know the feeling. I bought another bike not long ago and put on about 100 miles before parking it for the winter. Using the winter months to do all the maintenance and modifications. Come on springtime!

I know what you mean!!!!!!! I've been doing some maintenance on it as it sits and then I can't help myself and I brave the 40 degree weather to ride for a few minutes in a parking lot. I've never wished away winter as I grew up in So. Cal in the heat and like the cold, but for the first time I'm looking forward to the warmer months.

So do you sit on it and make engine noises and pretend your cruising down one of the local twisties. Not that i would know annything about that.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA I don't make the noises, but I do visit her in the garage at least twice during the work week. I've been known to talk to her from time to time too!
