1485 miles when purchased this past fall, $3000 bucks, loaded, Pittsburgh area, and I was the first caller the kid had in a week's worth of CL.
For the money you quoted you can actually get a nice loaded 1100 with decently low mileage around here.
And... If you're going to go for as big of a frame as the V-star 650 and you are willing to spend that kind of money, you may want to consider going for a loaded
1100 for quite a few reasons. Especially if you're interested in 2-up. I don't think there's all that much difference in the fit of the bike when it comes right down to it.
But I believe that there's a significant plus in the power and gearing. What say ye crew?
